The ambiance of this place did AWESOME. Walking in there feels like you've been transformed to an alternate universe. They have a jukebox and unique decor. There's not much seating inside and only a couple tables outside. The workers were very nice and helpful with the menu and choosing the flavors of the ice cream. I got the banana split and the caramelization on the banana was soo good. A very nice place for a date or friends. Will be coming back!

Short: Tasty dessert venue with a unique, old school diner feel. Long: I enjoyed my time at Fluffy McCloud's and had a nice ice cream. The place is reminescent of an old school dinner. Service was fast and friendly and we were quickly served. My only complaint was the lack of options, it does feature a good amount but a few more would be nice. Would recommend for a nice dessert!

Hot damn, this is good ice cream! We got the famous banana split w 6 scoops - Thelma vanilla, strawberry swan, pistachio, mint chip, chocolate and coffee. All were winners. This pistachio is probably my favorite that I've ever had anywhere. The coffee was really great as well. My partner, the vanilla fan, really liked this one. I'd come back for a come of that pistachio and coffee any freakin' day! Just like the whipped cream & the fudge, they make the cones in house and they looked outstanding, so can't wait to try those next time. Definitely best whipped cream and fudge I've ever had on a sundae. They put a lot of care into their ingredients and what they make with them. They're organic, preservative-free, and made in house! My kind of place. Staff was helpful, informative and friendly. The space is small, so I can imagine that gets hectic when it's busy, but we had no trouble finding a seat at the bar on a Monday night at 9pm. We will be back, for sure!

We shared a banana split among four of us. You can choose up to six ice cream flavors. All flavors were yummy. Banana creme brûlée was amazing. It is located in sunset so there was a homeless guy who kept going around the area while we were sitting outside. We could find a street parking but also saw a paying lot nearby

I saw the lactaid pills on tiktok and to my surprise, went to visit and realized all their ice cream was vegan. I'm not against vegan foods/desserts but definitely would have done more research before coming. BUT I was pleasantly surprised! My sister and I got the banana split. Ranking the flavors below: Amazing: 1. Grape sorbet - I don't even like sorbet, but this was so good. Not medicinal. 2. Coffee - amazing. 3. Chocolate - it was like a dark chocolate; so good. Good: 1. Vanilla - this was fine, but plain after trying the other flavors. Would not get again: 1. Cookies n cream - the texture was so bad. 2. Mint - you could taste the mint leaves, but it didn't taste right in ice cream. There are so many ice cream places in Echo Park and Silverlake, but Fluffy McCloud's is definitely refreshing compared to the others since it's lighter and more refreshing without the heavy cream.

Double Scoop Waffle Cone / horchata + churro - 5! Fluffy McCloud's in Echo Park is a hidden gem of an ice cream shop run by some highly creative people. It was a delight to visit their shop to try their fresh, all-natural, handmade ice cream. I am glad I saw them on social media because their unassuming storefront is hard to spot if you don't know what you're looking for. In an era dominated by made-for-social-media 'branding', having a plain but elegant storefront is clever. The interior of the shop is reminiscent of a classic ice cream parlor but made for the current era. It is charming, quirky, and has a variety of fun details like the classic jukebox decked out with cow horns or the lotto ticket dispenser in the center of their main counter space. The two clerks running the shop were kind, friendly, and helpful. Another detail I appreciated was that their sample spoons are metal. I had to sample their fresh-milk vanilla because I had never seen something like that before but I settled on churro and horchata for my cone. The ice cream is fresh, creamy and delicious. From what I gather, they rotate flavors and present them in a glass case like a gelato shop. They have vegan flavors and sorbets. While I was there, I saw a table share a banana split and it was one of the most gorgeous ice cream treats I had ever seen. I wasn't brave enough to try one. I was by myself and would not have wanted to let any of it go to waste. Echo Park has tough to find street parking but also this area has large parking lots just off Sunset so parking is never really an issue here. If you are here for any of the amazing restaurants in the area, finish your meal with a delicious ice cream treat from Fluffy's. It is a great spot.
